Lunacon was held March 19-21, 2010 at the Rye Town Hilton.

Below is a collection of pictures showing costumer's at play. There are pictures of Hall costumes as well as candid pictures from the Green Room just before the masquerade. Our own Dora Buck ran the masquerade and Toni Lay was the MC. Ken Warren was the Official Photographer, so seek him out for formal pictures. This is only a sample of both costumes and events at the convention. There were two Balls (Regency and Steampunk), lots of panels, films, animes, a book auction, and art show, filking, larping, gaming, dealer's room and all. AND it didn't snow!

Lunacon 2010 Website

"The Rye Town Hilton" is just a cover for this hotel. The fans know it is really a place where Time and Space bend, namely "The Hotel Escher". This is a hotel where you can walk from the fourth floor, to the second floor and then the seventh floor without ever changing elevation. This year they tried renumbering all the floors, BUT WE KNOW THE TRUTH!

To aid you, our own Kathy Draves provided us with a link to this space eye view of this notoriously sneaky hotel (kind of appropriate for a SF based convention) but even from above its secrets remain hidden...However the heated indoor pool is a wonderful consolation (especially during the occasional snow storm) for never being quite sure what floor you are on.
